AMÉL
Amél grew up in a musical family. His father owned a high end audio company, so music was a part of his life from an early age. Following in the footsteps of his older sister, Amél began playing the violin when he was just 9 years old. Though he played for many years, in school, orchestras and more, Amél never imagined a career in music.
In 2016 he was introduced to the music of Alan Walker and was enamoured by the clean and powerful sound of EDM. He began listening to electronic music and wondered how it was created. During a trip to Spain in 2018, he heard of Avicii’s passing, and finally decided it was time to learn about EDM production. As soon as he arrived back home, Amél downloaded FL studio and spent hundreds of hours learning the program and coming up with any melody he could think of. Along with his friend, C The Third.
Amél was signed to a small German record label in fall of 2018, under the duo name ‘Spane’. Amél continued to gain recognition in the industry, pushing himself as a producer, as well as picking up speed as a DJ in the later half of the Covid pandemic. In 2022, Amél received recognition from EDM icon, AFROJACK, and later signed to his label, WALL Recordings, in 2023 during Tomorrowland Winter. A huge leap for him was taken. Amél his records and remixes were already played by some of the greats on stage. Now he is looking forward to be at that spot himself!
