Kapuchon – Education
Kapuchon, the tech-house alias of GRAMMY Award-winning producer and dance music icon AFROJACK, has released a gift from the past. His newest single and long overdue tech house track with that special AFROJACK sound, “Education,” is available now on all DSPs and streaming services HERE.
Although AFROJACK has remained an EDM giant over the past decade, some may have forgotten about his tech-house alter-ego, Kapuchon, which he launched over a decade ago. In 2020 he reignited the alias with the release of “10 Years Later” and the launch of the new Kapuchon Records imprint. In 2022, he teamed up with Chico Rose for “Trouble” under the alias. The project of ‘Kapuchon’ frees up space for Nick to release on a bigger spectrum within the ever broadening scene of dance music. It also resulted in many surprise performances at different festivals where its visitors got enriched with his presence. So always keep an eye out for the starting act, since Kapuchon isn’t just your regular pre-party intro performance!
The track “Education” shows that this project isn’t just a sidepiece. Time and dedication are put into every track to give you the quality that you deserve from one of the most sought-after artists for over a decade. A combination of heavy basslines and hard-hitting synths, Kapuchon brings his signature sound to all dance floors worldwide with his new track that will make any crowd dance.
2022 was a stellar year for AFROJACK; which included his fourth GRAMMY nomination (for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for his inspiring dance-pop crossover “Hero” with David Guetta) and the signing of his new joint venture with Universal Music Group. AFROJACK has already had a tremendous start to 2023, having recently wrapped his North America tour with major stops in New York City, Washington DC, Las Vegas, and Austin. He’s also already released three records this year – “Alone Again” with Chico Rose and Mougleta and “Shockwave” with R3HAB in January and “Danger” with Cesqeaux in February. Fans can look forward to seeing him perform a staggering three times at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year – he performs as AFROJACK on the main stage on Friday, he hosts his own JACKED stage on Saturday, and performs as Kapuchon on Sunday!
